Silvio Ferreira
Watching the band go from Kind of Blue, Hiroshima mon amor, Time Out, Chega de Saudade and the Misunderstood.
Publicist with stints in important agencies in São Paulo.
Passionate about art cinema, good quality music, wines, literature and travel. La Dolce Vita.
Self-taught photographer (one day I went out there with a little camera in my hands, I made some clicks, I got encouragement from my friends and I never stopped)
Unconditional fan of Henry Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Sebastião Salgado, German Lorca, Hildegard Rosenthal, Thomaz Farkas, among others.
Photography for me is a way of learning to look at the world, a kind of breathing exercise (capture and release), a meditation, a communion with the beautiful, a flirtation, a state of mind. It is the attempt to establish a dialogue with myself and with the characters and elements that make up the image. It means being an accomplice, making a small detail interesting, generating reflection, memories, feelings, immortalizing that fleeting moment of memory and the universe.
"We don't just take a picture with a camera; in the act of photographing we bring all the books we read, the movies we see, the music we listen to, the people we love."
