The Italian Segirson de Freitas has a degree in pedagogy and, from a very young age, has been self-taught in painting and sculpture. He attended drawing and painting workshops in Itu and São Paulo and participated (and was awarded) in several collective and individual exhibitions, in Snao Paulo and in the interior.

He also dedicated himself for a long time to caricature, representing people from the city of Itu, part of which were published in the newspaper “A Federação”, in the 80s and 90s. 

His sculptures representing famous artists, anonymous musicians, or other characters with whom he identifies and portrays, are true rare, unique and exclusive gems, produced by combining different materials and bringing the touch of Segirson's genius.
